A salvini I recently purchased is doing poorly in quarantine. I checked the water perams and my ammonia was at almost 2ppm. I quickly did a 90% water change. I assume its condition is due to poor water. Im gonna do daily water changes till the bacteria cycle is fixed, but is there anything else I can do to improve the health of this fish?

The only thing I can think of is to add an extra airstone to make sure the oxygen level stays up.
