What I've found with this hybrid is they seem to be even more aggressive then both species. The salvini (dad) genes really Dominant. Was shocked on a lack of pearls from this cross.

I kind of like these ones, be interesting to pair one of these with your rainbow x Texas to see how the yellow comes out.
One of my male Salvini who is around 6 inches was paired with a female Salvini has suddenly dropped her for one of my Texas x convict females. Well seems like she took over as she is bigger. I found that odd as the male has all the females of his own kind. If they get fry I might raise a few too see what they could look like.

There is little information about the Salvini x Carpintis cross, here is the picture I managed to find. This hybrid is different from yours.
Looks nice better then the Texas x salvini pearl wise but has less color. Possibly a F1 (cyano X zuess carpintis) X salvini would be better for color and pearls. But I like the looks of the carpinits X salvini could actually be used in a couple of crosses that come to mind

That is actually pretty good looking hybrid. As I mentioned in another of your posts my female above jumped out. Was this a carpintis you used with the Salvini?
