Salvini

Ok, I've search on here and the web and I am trying to figure out what kind of tank situation salvini require. I've seen some saw that a pair can inhabit 55 gal just fine while others say they need a 75 min for tankmates. Any opinions would be helpful.

i don't happen to have a pair but i do have a male salvini in a 75 with smaller sa/ca cichlids and he definitely owns the tank. only one to hit the convict eggs in 2+ years. i could see a pair making life tough in a 55 depending on temperament.

From what i've heard and from what I have read Salvini are pretty tough and they don't get overly tough. I would like to think that they would be ok in a 55 for life.
