Could i add a female Salv to my 75? Currently it has a pair of Cons and a Hybrid of a Texas and V. Heterospila, or at least thats my best guess to its parentage.

Lots of areas to hide an all that. I do my maintenave so bioload shouldnt be an issue.

let me know :)

Your tank is on the verge of overstocked. Figure the cons will hit 4-6" and their gonna be nasty. That Texas hybrid will likely be just as nasty. Stick with what you have and stay up on the water changes.

Maybe list sizes of current occupants. Only thing I would MAYBE add would be a bichir, maybe Senegal or albino. Ime albino don't get as large nearly as quick anyways. Decent clean up crew, what do you have for filtration?

Male con is 3.5" and female is like 1.75". Hybrid is about 8.5.

Them growing will take awhile. Breeding fish grow slower as they use a lot of resources to raise the young, and the hybrid has hit the threshold where its growth should really start slowing down, and it wasnt made of super fast growing parents either. To the best of my knowledge.

Canister Sun Sun. Its the bigger one, i forgot the specifics of it. And a marineland HOB rated for a 55. Bubbles and powerhead to keep it moving, with weekly 50- 80%!water chenges, and sometimes i will do another 30% if it looks messy.

They are well fed so that should hopefully reduce that particular outlet of aggression. Motly the Cons act dumb and draw attention to themselves but dont do really anything when the other fish tries to get at them. They are fairly docile as Coms go.

The hybrid is actually pretty calm. He isnt super skittish or super mean, i would actually describe him as a pretty optimal fish. He doesnt really run from threats (i.e. Me) but he isnt a demon... I think he would work better with other fish than the Cons would, TBH.

But yeah. Female Salv

Texas X heterospila? I'd like to see a picture of that guy.

Any other opinions on this?
You can certainly TRY it, as long as you have lots and lots of caves and hide spaces, and a tank to remove a fish if it isn't working out. Technically it's gonna be viewed as overstocked, BUT I have also worked miracles in crowded tanks with careful observation, lots of caves, weekly 50-70% WCs, heavy filtration, strong natural bacteria, and ALWAYS being ready to relocate a fish if it needs to be.

If you don't have a back-up tank, you might be chancing it.

Thats what I was thinking.
Again, im not sure thats what it is. I made a thread about it, but i will try to get a pivture.

I think its Texas because of its blue sheen and blue gil playes as well as the pattern on its fins. And i think its some type of Vieja die to overall body shape. Heterospila fit the color profile (blue/green w/ red throat) so i call it a Tex X Heterospila.

I could be wrong.. I bought it from the LFS who called it a straight Texas. So im just taking a guess here.

Sorry for my finger in the pic :)

First is his big ugly mugshot, then a full body. Then he started wrestingling with the male Con so i took a pic of that to. Cons just laid so they are in uber-protective mode which is why the fins are torn right now.
