Is it possible to breed salvini's in an aquarium and if so what size tank and so on?

no - they can only be bred in the tube that you buy Pringles in.

LOL - yes, they are easily bred, but pairs are rarely compatible, so it's best to grow a group out and let them pick their own mates. I would suggest a 20 long, or 40 to begin with for the group, then a 30 or 40 for the pair alone (maybe with a few dithers.)

Males tend to stay around 7" females get to 5-6". Males although have reached 9"-10". I say a 40 gallon breeder is best for a Salvini pair. They get MUCHO AGRO when breeding.

Ok great. With a 8" fish, you dont need anything bigger than a 55. Anyone gots some pics of breeding salvini's?
