Same cichlids, new camera.

G'day MFK.

Here are some of the first pictures with the new cam. For those who are interested, it's a Fujifilm S5800.
The female has completely recovered from the slight HITH and is now back to blowin her eggs everywhere like clockwork. The male seems to have a strange habbit of pseudo spawnin. Every couple of weeks he'll consistantly fertilise his flower pot for up to two days. Anyone else witness this kind of behaviour in adult males? Obviously these two despise eachother.

Thx fellas.

So no-one has had any experience with such behaviour as mentioned? I'm curious about this, as he shows no interest in courting females. Yet seems to be courting and fertilising a clay pot, with great vigour too. Maybe i'll catch it on video and post it with the question in it's own thread.
