If i have two male or two female tokays in a cage will they fight each other or is that just a myth

I've never had any geckos, but from what I know about reptile behavior in general, it's a bad idea. In fact it's probably not a good idea even if they're opposite sexes.

It's extremely bad to keep either 2 males together in a cage, and also bad to keep a male and female in the same cage because the 2 males will definatly fight to the death and as for the pair I know that with bearded dragons the male with try and breed with her when he wants, and will even kill her. You can keep two females together granted you have enough room, but always monitor the aggression.

Lots of space, lots of hidding places. Triple he cage size for one if you are going to house 2 together, and that goes for females.

2 males? Absolutely not...they will fight. Male/female...probably would be okay in a 29 gal or larger. 2 females...probably ok as well.

But I wouldn't mix your new tokay with anything until he gets better.

I may have offered this before, but here's a caresheet a buddy of mine wrote. He loves tokays, has bred them a couple times, and has had marginal success taming them: http://www.herpfamily.com/HerpFamily/docs/Tokay%20Gecko.html
