havent posted in a while due to work but just wanted to see if anyone else has tried this brand of frozen bloodworms and brine/ mysis shrimp and had problems?
I havent added any fish in over 5-6 months but two months ago i decided to try out this San Francisco bay brand frozen food. My fish love the food until about 2-3 months ago when i noticed what looked like 4-5 thin red strings hanging out of my fishes anus. Somehow my lyosni contracted nematodes. I ended up curing them of nematodes and swapped out all the filter media and substrate and have seen no signs of the nematodes for about 2 months now.

I was wondering if anyone has had anything similar like this happen? or if its even possible for my fish to catch parasites from frozen food such as bloodworms and brine/mysis shrimp??

My dad used the stuff for years and now I do as well. I've never noticed any thing like that from that brand although last night I gave my fish hikari brand krill. They kinda freaked out at first and swam away from it but ate it. Today they are all scratching themselves in decor and substrate and I thought I saw what might have been white dots on my blood parrots tailfin. So I jacked up my temp and did a big waterchange just incase
