What do you feed them while young and are the ph sensitive

Beani are awesome. Just never pulled the trigger to get them.

I feed them all kinds of foods.
Bug bites Cichlid formula
Southern Delight Veggykrill
Southern Delight small Cichlid
Northfin Cichlid
Northfin Krill Pro

My ph is a steady 7.4
Their tank does has only gravel mixture and terracotta in it, so I don't think The ph swings at all.
