anyone here using carib sea sand or any white sand not beige but white? Any pro or cons to using this sand. I want to try a white sand. White seems to bring out the color of the fish better. Using black gravel, and its okay.

I'd recommend torpedo beach, its a little off white but close enough for me. Its a large grain sand so the rays don't kick it up as much as they do some sand.

I switched to the Carib in my 55 mbuna tank. I do like the sand and my fish love it. It shows every bit of poop that doesn't get picked up by the filter.
