sand changing colours

ok so i bought black sand for my 29 but its not realy black its more of a smoky gray colour

is there any thing i can do to get it black? or do i just live with it being smoky gray.

You're stuck. There is nothing I know of that would leach into the water.

it not the water its the sand it self that changed colours

the colors fade with time i believe they are colored artificially nothing you can do that i know of mine did the same thing

well my sand is brand new but oh well i kind of like it now

i like the gray sand in my 125 (seachem gray coast)

I meant that there is nothing I know of that you could put on the sand that wouldn't leach back into the water.
