Anyone kno a cheap place that sells sand? I live in hawaii

Yeah thats a great suggestion above. Playground sand is pretty cheap and fish friendly i used it for my 125 gal

find a pool supply house and get pool filter sand , its cheap and works great as well as looks good . I've run it in many tanks and playground sand is a bit course for and sharp for some fish

I second this. Pool filter sand is also usually pre-washed, therefore less debris when you add to your tank (or less to wash out if you re-wash before adding to your tank)

right ons, mahalos for all da suggestions =).. just called home depot right now actually and they said they only have sand to mix in cement and its not fish friendly, haha. Asked if they had playground sand too and they dont got =/, bummers.
