Sand for ray tank

Getting ready to get back into rays and i want to use sand this time.Have always used small gravel.But the only white pool filter sand i can find is this mystic 2 stuff.I have read mixed issues about people using it and not using it with rays.Can i get some better help, like maybe from people that have there rays in sand like this.

I haven't used it but the only negative I see off that bat is that it says it uses angular instead of spherical sand which might mean jagged and pointy.

I have always used pool filter sand from Walmart or a local pool supply store........just have to rinse the heck out of it

Fairly certain that is the same type I have in one of my ray tanks. No complaints.
