sand for ray

hi,

i just want to know what type of ray can i use for ray...

at the moment i have some gravel only, but was thinking of changing to fine sand would it be okay if i use fine river sand for them

I have pool filter sand. It does not look the best. But it works and is safe for all fish.

Any non-silicate sand is fine. Estes is great if you can get your hands on it.

I am using 3M quatz black sand, but I still prefer bare bottom, make the tank look much cleaner. Some of my rays use to bare bottom and when I have sand in they dont even like it.

imho i would not add sand
reason is because some **** may potentially get stuck with the sand.

after some due consideration...i have made my mind on not adding sand just the gravel only
