I've been sugested to use Estes Marine sand for my tank (48in. by 18in. by 24in.) as a grow up tank for a 5in motoro. The things is how many lbs of sand I need to fill 1 inch of the tank? Also has anyone have exsperince with this brand?
I use Estes sand. It is good sand. You won't need an inch of sand for your tank though, 1/2" -3/4" will work fine. Is your tank 18" wide or 24" wide? Five 5lb bags should be enough.
