Is that not a marbled sleeper goby? Love it!

Different place, different names. I'll also seen tham called water cows, sleeper goby, marbled goby,

Ive seen them called sand gobies, marbled goby, and freshwater stonefish... I had one pretty cool fish. If you give them sand they will bury themselves under it with only their head sticking out like a stonefish then inhale any fish small enough that swims by :)

yes there alot of names for these cool monster its a sad thing here in singapore they could be found in restaurant ready to be eaten by people. here the sand goby is also called 'soon hock' in dialect
i used to fish alot in the past and i caught a monster about 20" and its a fatty i had a cooler box with me left it inside and went home
when i reached home it was still alive so i thought i have a monster specimen here and ive got an empty 55gal sitting there .well keep it! i kept it for about a year and it died

you would like a bare bottom for these guys
they would mess up your gravels and stuff
and it nice to be able to see them
mine hides behind a filter pump everytime and come out when theres no one around and when the lights are off
