Sand or Fluorite

So I'm starting a small 5 gal up again for a betta but I'm wanting to put my bamboo in it. I may also add a small anubias nana and potentially moss but I'm not sure.
I have both PFS and fluorite black but I'm wondering which one would be better to use, mostly for the plants sake but also for esthetic reasons.

go all fluorite, way better then a fluorite/sand mixure. not to say mixtures are bad.

just much pricier to go full fluorite on larger tanks

Go with fluorite! I hate when sand flys up and then gets into the filtration.

Well this tank is so small and since it'll have a betta there's going to be no filtration, just frequent small w/c

still should have a filter. really its up to you and the looks. some people like the color of the sand others like the color of flourite.
