Sand or Gravel

starting a 150gall don't know what to use sand or gravel.

I hate gravel! And not really a big fan of sand! But I prefer sand over gravel

i agree scuba, plan it out and when u decide on the fish then you can do the sad/gravel, plants and so on..

idk how safe or unsafe it is, but i know ive always used the pool filter sand in all of my tanks. and for 50lbs under $10 you can beat that price wise..unless your stealin from the local kids playground and in that case id safe it was unsafe lol..

Sand, it's harder for extra food and waste to get through the sand bed, which makes for easier clean-up IMO..

i fully agree, when its clean its clean, none of that hide n seek in the gravel
