What are some non aggressive freshwater inverts that will stir up a sandy substrate?

Small crayfish and most snails. (such as the Trumpet Snail)

Malaysian Trumpit Snails or Assassin Snails if you dont want them to populate like MTS.

I never had a over population problem with MTS in my 55gal. It was planted with sand, and i RARELY see these guys around. Turn the lights off, they're everywhere! Wake up in the moring to see a smooth shifted ground.

Coreys worked pretty good too, except my Arowanna got ahold of them...
