Sand with Live Plants ok?

I know some of my plants want rocks or bogwood to attach to. But would the ones that are normally in Gravel be ok in Sand?

I've grown a lot of plants in sand. I'm by no means an expert, but I haven't had any problems in my play sand

ya it should because its lok id they dont attach they can just be "in" the sand.

id say it really comes down to what kind of plants and what grade level sand like 3mm 4mm etc

anything that will grow in gravel will grow better in sand IMO
