How long does it take sand to settle in a new setup?

depending on how fine the sand is, and if there are fish in there....should be less than a day for the heavier sand....the super fine sand a few days depending the water movement....what do u have...

It also depends on how wellu cleaned it too....play sand is teh worst as far as cleaning it.,...

Howdy,

Just remove all the water and add new water carefully (let it run on a plate or in a bowl). It's clear right away
