i got some sand for christmas and i want to put it in the new 125. its called like, "TUBE SAND. all purpose sand." i got 400 pounds of it. do you think it would harm any fish? the stocklist will be silver aros. and maybe a TSN.

also, they 125 will have a sump. the bulk head is up towards the top, but do you think it would mess up the sand any?

naw the sand should be fine, but i dotn think you need 400 lbs in the 125...half would be enough

im not putting that much weight in it with out any water!!need some for other tanks too. besides, its on a redneck tank stand

As long as it is normal sand it should be fine. I have sand in all my tanks with filters ranging from HOB to canister to W/D without any problems. Put up some before and after pics when your done.
