yea wats the best way to keep the fish poop from just sittin at the bottom of the sand? should i just add a power head pointed down are just keep suckin it up any ideas

Some people have set up "current systems" that are design to keep the debris suspended until it is sucked into their mechanical filters. IMHO, this is just too exotic for most.
The good ole vacuum takes care of it in a few minutes. Just vacuum as the first step in your regular water changes.
