Sandy has unfortunatly taken 1 life in toronto. I'm watching the news right now. High winds blew down a Staples business depot sign and stuck a 30yr old women in the head. She unfortunatly did not survive her injurys.

Sandy has dropped from "Hurricain status" to "tropical storm" status. Not sure if that's just for us Canadian residents or not.

That sucks.....I'm right in it....thank god nothing has happened here and I even got my electricity...my girls just went out !

About 6000 homes in toronto are without power right now. I still have power fortunatly. Hope everyone below the border is safe. I hear nyc subway is underwater right now. And 5 deaths now in nyc as well.

I know of a few people in london (2 hours south of toronto) that have no power. But all is well here still *fingers crossed*

I grew up in London, my sister lives there now. Havnt heard from her all night, probably no power either.
