sandy gravel dat dont hurt filter

Your best bet would be to get some that is heavier and doesnt get stirred up easily.

dont know of any names but i do know that people mix sand and fine gravel up to give it some weight and texture.

one thing i do is when i buy sand i put it is a bucket and rinse, ster and do this a million times. it helps get rid of the small pices that get stired up easy. it helps alot.

be sure to use fish friendly sand....

do not use sand meant for playgrounds or sandboxes
