Hi wel li started my pond and did quite a bit of work on the first day the botom base size is 8x4 feet but its 2 feet deep so its around 500 gallon and will be heated with 2 jebo 500watt heaters in winter and will house a jardini i dont know what substrate yet or pond pump size but any help would be great :grinno: cheers james ps as a young fish keeper loving mfk aslo is 0.35mmpvc pond liner too thinim on a tight budget

aslo is there any kind of fish i could add that the jardin wont bother like pleco or eel

update i have started building bog filter with media being some sponge at the outlet and the rest be graval with plant growing inside any help would be great never built a filter like this and stock list is growing
1 barramundi
1 tandanus catfish/eel tail cat should be fine if cover is provided and will
1 or 2 bristle nose plecos
and maybe my oscar
and of coarse the saratoga jardini
i want a eel like a short fin or spiny or is this a no no

also liner will be orderd next week and pump also would 1000gallons per hour be okay im going to have a 25gph pump for ciculation
 
ok i will have a uv strelizer when the money apear in my pocket is the stock list ok and bog filter plans good:D
 
would these fish be happy on high quility koi food cause predatory food in my area is extremly expesive $50
for 500grams
