Sargasso Eels

Anyone know where I can possibly find Sargasso Eels in the Midwest, particularly the Kansas City area? I had 2 of them back in the 90's, bought from a pet store who didn't know what they were so they gave them to me for about a buck and a half each. The pet store received them by accident and it took some research to figure what they were, but I did. I LOVED THEM!!! However, I have never been able to find them since.

Story is, the eels actually grew ... fast. Too fast for my 30-gal octagon aquarium. They kept getting out of the tank thru the Whisper filters. The cat got them the last time. The cat is no longer an issue, however the eels are impossible to find now.
 
I might want to add ... I am new to this forum, having just found it today when searching for info on my turtles.

fyi fish can't be found in "smaller forms" just because the said species has a maximum size too high for the person to care for. like seeing pacus at the petstore only at 2" and thinking "oh these are the perfect kind for me!!" and then someone earlier was trying to sell you half grown 14" pacu and you saying "oooh im not looking for that. i want the smaller kind".


hope you got a big tank. 500 gallons at least.
