I have a 30gal open. And i was thinking about dwarf puffers but i decided to get a 20L for my birthday in may for them. And for my 30 gal i decided i wanted a Sargassum angler(frog fish). I will have alot of live rocks in there for him. Here is my idea so far. What do you guys think of it? Tell me if there are any mistakes or anythin. Ill feed the angler shrimp from walmart or whever(with out perservatives and other stuff).

Skimmer : http://www.customaquatic.com/estore...ssionid=2511D8FE76D366697BC118FE8F1C1958.jvm1 (is this a skimmer or hang on filter if its a skimmer imma get this)

Power head: Korilia powerheads

Residents: assorted angler

Cost: roughly 250$

Tank size:20L(long)

Cured live rock: 5-10$ a lb get 3lbs

Plant life: mushrooms polyps, large frogspawn, rose anemone w/ maroon clown, and a green carpet anemone.

that would be cool i wouldnt ge an angler cause i have a stargazer that never moves and i cant put any tank mates in there with it so its pretty boring but with coral it might not be to bad.....

Yea imma add coral n stuff and i never heard of a stargazer mayb its called that because u gaze n it never moves

lol no its wild from florida and its called that cause its eyes are facing up and it just sits in the sand its really pretty when its out of the sand but its venemous and it can electically shock so its scary and i have coral in ther to so the tank is
better with coral

Well im hopin to have some coral

But is that a filter i showed u or skimmer? It says hang on skimmer. And will i need a filter or will the rock work?

Does anyone have any good idea's of a community mayb? OR mayb a small eel if not i think im goin with the angler

Dont overfeed, I heard only feed once or twice a week. There is a lot of information on them on absolutereef.com. they have their own section to them like our arowana spot.

Good luck and post picks, I am about to get one.

sounds good one recommendation mix up the food source get raw uncooked shrimp, mussels, clams, squid, octopus, krill, silverslides. Get some live shore shrimp from online places like this.

http://www.aquaculturestore.com/swinverts.html

they are called Palaemonetes vulgaris they are safe and better then ghost shrimp cause they can live in saltwater and will eat detritus, and scavenge till they get eaten
