Satanoperca ID Help

I think I know exactly what these are but want to get some expert opinions to make sure I'm correct. They are 8" adults and somewhat stressed in the pictures BTW. The pics zoom in very large if you to.

lol thanks Jeff. Not sure why I'm second guessing myself. I been wrong before though..

I'm 99.9% sure their Satanoperca sp. "Red lip". Stoked I finally found them TBH..!

Blue unpaired fins with no facial markings, orange edged ventals, red lips ... looks a lot like the german reference pics of sp. red lips. Still wish I had the eathereater book for a better description/pics though.

Thanks for the response C!! I hoped you would chime in. When I saw them I knew what they were but since I don't have Wiedners book I thought I would make sure I didn't miss anything. That and I never thought they would fall in my lap... I PM'ed Ed, he said the same thing.

I'll vent them when I move them this weekend. I sure hope I have a male/female. I would be really excited to try and spawn s. mapiritensis and the sp. redlip this year, no pressure...
