I'd lean S. pappaterra based off the pattern but would need better pics.

Don't you think there should be some remnants of red in the anal and/or caudal? I think it's a stressed jurupari

Even if stressed, it would show the irridescent spotting under the dorsal.

I agree the colors are off, hence why I would want to see more/better pics (I was thinking stressed fish as well). The caudal marking and the midlateral stripe and the stripe under the dorsal are what are suggesting pappaterra to me, but judyok is right in that rhynchitis shares that same pattern when stressed, and would account for the orange mouth region and lack of color in the finage.

Gah, you said jurupari. Not leuc ... sorry, just got home from work after an overnight 10 hour shift. Ignore me, past bedtime obviously.

Oh and the deal. I know a guy who i buy and trade fish with quite a bit message me and say he's selling all the fish he has left. Says 100$. I ended up with the satanopercas which are 6-7 inches. 3 true parrots 5-7 inches. 8 fat 5+ inch eba's. 4 threadfin acaras, what looks like a 7" geophagus sp. Bahia red(not 100% just know it looks nothing like my other brasilensis ive had) a male bn pleco, and a small texas. Already made my money back and only sold 5 fish lol. Now i can pick and choose what to keep and whats profit. Probably wont keep the satanopercas so I'd loke to know what they are for when i sell them. The dude i got them off can never remember names lol
