Very nice!

How big are they? They look more like S. jurupari at this point.

Thanks for your reply, I have followed your posts, and I am your fan!

They are between 4" and 5" long.

I them acquired like jurupari, but here (in Central America) all species of satanos are treatead like "jurupari". I'm sure about daemon, for its characteristics. Daemon is dominant between them, although they aren't agressive for now

Do you have pics of the S. daemon? They should have 3 spots running along the flanks of the body. The fish pictured for sure looks S. jurupari. I would love to see a full tank shot with that much sand in a 55 gallon, I am a fan of deep sand beds myself!

Hi Justin, thanks for your reply, I've seen your satanopercas and I love those...

I put any pics of setup and full tank when it started, I have a bad picture of s. daemon, when it acclimatized. I promise to take another good pics later...

That tank is simple and clean, I like it a lot Bryan. Looks good. You for sure have S. jurupari and S. dameon. Do you plan to get more of each species down the road? They will outgrow the 55 in the near future. That same design on a larger tank would look great.

IMO it's a deformity of the head and mouth. The mouth should not be turned down to that extent.
