im new to these africans so a little guidance would save some fish from being murdered. i want to use a 29 galbut dont think i can. i was looking at Pseudotropheus saulosi. i want a over stocked tank lots of movement lots of rock. everything black only color from fish. any thoughts?

well you will have some time, depends on the size of the ones you get... small they have to grow to maturity... full grown and could be a month until you have more. a group in a 29 will last, but more will not... These are smaller mbuna... I would say a 55 for a group or a 40 would be better... but to start a 29 can work...the lot more will be the fry...

thanks. im just wondering what dose "group" mean 4-5 ? how many for 75 gal ? i have had fish for 25 yrs but never africans. somebody gave me a electric yellow x red zebra hybrid last week and i think im hooked.
