Hello all. For those of you who have raised savs. from baby to adult, how old were they when they passed? Just interested in keepers experiences. Thanks.

Ok...does 6-10 years seem like a reasonable life span in captivity?

Id say up to 20 years or more for a well taken care of animal

sadly almost none do

Ok, how many of you out there know how old your "friends" sav. was when it passed?
I dont believe 15-20 years is realistic given most monitor owners feed high fat diets.
Any one?

As suggested above, a "well taken care of animal" will live much longer then one maintained based on the keeper's convenience...
