Milky Way Galaxy,
It all started when i got home, i just recently bought 2 amazing angel fish for my 30 gallon. When i went outside to check up on my pond, i saw my plant thrown out of its pot with the mud everywhere. I saw the rocks scattered everywhere. My pond was dirty. I was extremely worried. i did a huge water change. My stock is 1 ID Shark, 1 Blue Channel Cat, 2 Tadpoles, a pretty Koi, and 2 Mosquito Fish/w fry. 800gallon pond. I did the huge water change everything missing. I only saw the Mosquito Fish (1) and its fry, and some feeder ghost shrimp. Then i saw a hair in the water i pocked it and out came my Blue Channel! I got him out and moved him into the 30gallon, my question is will he be OK? for maybe 3days until i put him back in? Am really pissed someone stole my fish!!!!! it couldt have been an animal for the amount of damage that was done. It wast only the pond that was damaged. But could someone please help me on what to-do with Blues Clues? (the channel cat) i dont want to lose him =[ he is doing very good right now he is swimming in the 30gallon as much as he did in the pond and he is acting like nothing happened. He is about 5-6inches. and will be in there for 3days. Anything i can do to help him?

No offense but you really need to re-type what happened because your explanation is very confusing and doesn't make a lot of sense. Why is the pond not healthy for the catfish anymore?

You have racoons my friend. Maybe you should look into putting a cover over your pond? I had to. I used chicken wire the first go round. They ate right through that so I up'd the gauge to 14 or 16g. That worked. Now, I can hear them climbing arround on it late at night.

what was confusing, sorry about that. so your saying i can put him back in now? i did about a 60% water change. It would still be fine? its very clean now...

hmmm maybe ur right, i do have a very good cover and forgot to put it on these past few days. Maybe its time to put it back on....

Did you take the catfish out because the water was muddy? pond was leaking? or it was injured?

Catfish live in rivers, which can tend to be muddy. If so, you can put it back.

Young man, you are doing them more stress by handling them...ponds can get muddy water any time they stir the bottom, that isn't detrimental to the fish...your masked fish thieves are....oh and the lack of protection for them...is there a part of the pond that has deep water/cover? usually varmints won't dive for fish, but they will chase them all over the shallows...
