Ok i have a bullhead catfish that i caught over a year ago and i also have a sucker fish that i caught over a year ago(it was inside a tire) and a Tiger Oscar. The sucker fish used to eat algae wafers and actually go after them but now whne i put algae wafers in the tank the suckerfish ignores them and ive noticed that its become a bit parasitic. Ive seen the suckerfish suck on the slime layer of the catfish and the catfish since it cant fight back as well as the Oscar unfortunately is being victimized by the sucker fish, can anyone give me an idea of what to do with the fishes before its too late?
It seems that the sucker fish will eat algae wafers but only a specific kind and if not that then it only occasionaly eats the algae wafers
Tiger Oscar- 12 inches i think probaly more
Bullhead Catfish- 11 inches
Suckerfish - just under 8 inches
the measurements are from begining of the mouth to the end of their tails
im gonna try to take pictures of the fishes and see if i can upload them

The first answer that comes to mind is to separate them. Maybe get a different tank for the pleco. Or divide the tank but with big fish I do not think that is such a good option.

My pleco LOVED zucchini. I would put a thick slice in there on a clippy that stuck to the side of the tank and he would eat it down to the green rind. He really went for it. I think if you look at an algae wafer and think about eating one every day they must be like eating one of the nastier dried out "health" bars...I think they can eat other vegetables too but I would try the zucchini and see what happens.
