Was doing a wc yesterday and I was cleaning the filters in the washroom. I did a 40% wc so all the fish were bunched up on one side of the tank. After I finish cleaning the filters while setting them back up I noticed my female GT was half way in my Pbass's mouth
I try to scare the Pbass by smacking the glass so he would let go but he didn't. So my next move was I grabbed my big net and finally the Pbass got scared and spat out my GT. She luckily survived and still swimming around and eating lots. Now I know not to get a fish that's smaller then half of the bigger predator's size. I can't wait til my next tank arrives so I can seperate everyone then my smaller cichlids can live in peace...
This Pbass only eats live fish...he's eaten my 4" convict and 4" red jewel...I tried starving him for weeks for him to eat shrimp and hikari pellets but so far no luck...
She has some damage on her head. I added aquarium salt and more dosage of Prime. Should I add medication to heal her?
