Hi whoever is reading this. I posted this so that inexperienced fish owners like me can learn how to not kill fishes.

Basically, I posted this thread cause I hate to see my fishes dying and my fishes dying merely show my inability to keep them.

Well let me tell you some fishes which died under my hands.
2 gouramis -- 1 got eaten and the other died when the filter stopped one night...
1 wood shrimp -- Died when the filter stopped one night...
2 balas -- Both balas died by endlis... 1 Bala got injured by an endli and died, the other Bala got injured by a different endli on the way home from a fish store
1 pictus catfish -- It died while I was making some changes to the tank...
1 glass catfish -- Eaten by an endli
1 small fish -- Its head was bitten by a marbled goby and then died...

My point is, don't put any fishes with endlies no matter how big they may be (right now I'm putting my 2 endlies with a marbled goby, yes they are all killers)

I was just wondering what you all would do if you see your fish overturned, gasping for air or something.

Fishes saved
1 red tail cat fish -- It was sick and dying and i changed tanks
1 Bala -- It jumped and landed on the floor... what a dumb fish... But i put it in a container of water with salt and it was okay again...

But of course I'm sure that all of you have killed fishes before so that's why i've started this thread, once again, so that some pro like Lupin could tell us what to do...

I haven't mentioned you cause you got it with trial and error, with half-living fish! Well they were probably about to die also...
