Saw something incredible last night!!

I witnessed my little 3" albino senegal eat a rosy red minnow!!!! He surprised me when he grabbed it. It took him a while to get it all the way down his gullet. I thought that I would have to fish him out to pull the minnow out. This is the first bicher that I have ever owned and I can't wait to see more amazing things.

Since that beast has known what's yummy. Any tankmakes smaller than half the size of it look yummy too, be careful with that.

Had that same feeling when I saw my 3" del. eat a 1" zebra danio...

yup, i was shocke when my 3 inch bichir owned a rosie have his size

Yuppers. When I first got my albino senegal bichir I had no clue that it would try to eat fish his own size. I got him @ 2" and he was eating rosy's that were 1.5"+ and nearly the same girth as him. After he got the fish down the actual shape of the fish was easily seen through the bichirs body. I could even see minor details in the eyes of the rosy's when they were in the stomach of the bichir. It was awesome watchin' it. He's now @ about 5"

i remember my old senegal,,,,its 12''(full size) eat my native eels that just more than 5'' in length.............................the sad part ,,,it die,,,,,,,,,,
