Saw this channel cat at LFS

Went to LFS this morning for feeders n daughter picked out some goldfish for her tank and saw this guy. I really wanted him but don't have a big enough tank right now, all I have is a 55 that currently has a bullhead in it, and I didn't feel that was big enough.

I saw a 200 gallon tank on clist a while ago for $150 but I was away at work and the wife would have never been able to move it. Kinda kick myself for not getting her to go pick it up. Would have fit beautifully haha

200 would not hold it. My channels would always hit 2' in little over year and then start gaining amazing girth.

Channel cats are one of my favorites. That's a nice looking one, I probably would have grabbed it. I'm hoping to track some down this year if they become available.

I went to get him so bad, I just don't have the space currently and didn't want to take a chance with him fighting with my bullhead. Lol I need a second house for my aquariums

Find someone who has a sizable pond. Contact them and see if they will take it.
