IMO 275 dollars for a 55g set up is no where near a good deal. Alot of people will not buy a used set-up for more than 1-2 dollars a gallon.
 
If there's really a 10" EBJD in there that makes it almost worth it IMO. But yes, that's way too much for a 55G setup if you discount the EBJD.

BTW, Turns out, the women sent me a pic of the dempsey and it is a standard. Like mentioned, if it was a true 10'' ebjd w/ a 55 setup, that is a good price... to me any way.

I believe he/she was refering to the seller on craigslist. At least I hope he/she was.
 
not a good deal i just got a 55g, 2 penguin filters lights, air pumps for 40$ all work and look good. add 50 bucks for the fish and 50 for the NONmatching stand and its would be a good deal at 140.
 
your bargain shopping skills could use some honing
