Sax and Celidos

Finally got around to taking some photos of my pair of C. saxatilis "La Palma" and 4 young C. celidochilus! The female sax has really started to develop her color and blump belly in the last month and the male has been really nice to her so who knows what will happen next

Where was "La Palma"? They look like the same spp as in the Rio Cuareim.

Thanks Ed! La Palma is a little pond/mudhole near the town of Tranqueras. I believe the pond is fed by springs. Also I think the closest major river is the Tacuarembo and there was a stream called Lunarejo near by as well. But I don't have a detailed map so I could be wrong. Pics of the site are below
