Okay my Crenincichla Sax has a BIG belly. She loves to eat but dammit her stomach has gotten sooooooo big. Is she pregnant? Or is she fat? Or is she diseased.

She was not fat when I got her over a week ago.

Yeah but I fed her yesterday afternoon. and I took pic today afternoon before I fed her

females will have a larger belly. nothing to worry about

She looks fat and sassy. I wouldn't worry. If she's eating pellets they may be causeing abit of bloat. Or she may have plumped up with eggs. the red belly makes me think she's just fat and sassy. her color looks very nice, doubt if she was sick she'd be so vibrant.

OMG, I was cleaning the tank and so I picked up the cave where Pike was living and
WHAT THE HELL!!! Whats that stuff under the cave? EGGS.

Yeah I knew her belly was bigger than normal. But no mate. My tank is sectioned off and she is with a pair of Jacks.

Will any Male fertilize these eggs without pairing up? If I turn the cave over will the other males fertilize it?
