Noticed this was on my albino pleco. I'm really worried, is it a camallanus outbreak? If it is what's the best treatment?

his tank mates include platy, guppy, Chinese algae eater, and a small peacock eel

theres a red lava rock, sand for substrate, floating moss, plastic plants, couple river rocks, hang on back filter, and the temp is 79

Since Sundays a no mail day I am using some of my anti parasite pellets by reptile xtra (turtle meds). It has fenbendazole. Anyone have any history with that?

Thanks kiru, didn't soak it in bloodworms like that article said. My bf smashed it up in a bag using a hammer and theyre eating it up. One of them is having babies... just can't figure out which one. lol

Well didn't neccessarily have to be bloodworms since the guy in the article was treating a paradise fish. As for a pleco, I guess the way your bf is doing is fine, as long as it's eating it. Though I can't say I know exactly what to do as it hasn't happened to my fishes before but let's just hope it'll cure your pleco :).. I have a couple albino plecos myself.

my male guppy is already acting better... he was resting on the ground for the past few days and hes swimming out and about
