Scale rot in arowana and clown loaches

Im having some problems with my arowanas scales, not sure if its fungal or bacterial. But my arowanas scale seems to be rotting my tank is 350 gal with 6x2 sump , problem is im limited to clown loach safe medication, i have 10 pcs 6-7 inch clown loaches so im not sure what to use. Will melafix handle this? I have tried
Another medication but then rot comes back after a while :(

Tanks ph is 8 , i already removed some crushed corals ammonia 0, niyrite 0, nitrate at 40


Any suggestions? Planning to use oceanfeee yellow powder but im hesitant because of my loaches

melafix is a pretty good all rounder for scale probs ive used buckets of the stuff in past with my aro and other fish its never harmed any of my fish , perhaps bit of aquarium salt aswell to speed the process
 
oh and plenty of flow oxygen in tank air pumps /powerhead
