Scales falling one by one in red arowana

Hi all,
Recently purchased a 15 inch red arowana. His scales r now falling off one by one, can anyone suggest what to do?.. All parameters normal.

Note: has not eaten anything since arrival-8 days.

Is he jumping and banging himself or are they just falling out ?

what decoration do you have in the tank?

what tanks mates ?

He is in the Quarantine tank I use for new fish. Bare tank with air stone and an internal hang back filter.

No jumping n banging wall activity I've noticed.

I’m not an expert on Arowana diseases but you could possibly look into this

My Aro used to lose scales every time I changed the water because it got so scared it used to throw itself about into everything hence why I asked if yours jump and bangs into things
