Scales on a knivefish missing.

I've got a clown knife, not sure how old it is but he's about 23 inches long.
I just noticed scales missing and he's not eating like he used to.

Water. 0ammonia 0 nitrites 40-80 nitrates
Temps 80°.

Clown knife in with 3 Leo's, tinfoil, bala shark,and 3 green phantoms.

Anyone ever seen this before?
Is it common?
Any input would be great.

My big guy dosnt eat much any more either though

Mine gets that all the time and it's always healed up. As for the feeding, fish that are bullied become stressed and don't feel safe going out for food. After his scales grow back, and if he isn't bothered by the other fish, he should start feeding again normally. Keep an eye out for infections, and good luck

I've noticed him scratching every once in a while. Maybe that's what's going on.
