I just finished the heat and salt treament for ich and have gotten excellent results on all my 11 new africans (They got ich a week after I got them home
and I had the salt/heat treatment going for 16 days at 88F). However there is just one single bi-color that has these weird white flakes on its body. I definitely know its not ich because it looks like dry flaky scales on the fish not salt like grains. The fish is eating just fine and does not appear stressed out. Could this dryness/flakiness have come from the salt? None of the fish are flashing or showing any sings of stress. Water params are just fine.
Would somebody know what this is and how it can be treated?
