Scammed???

Yeah, I sold my Loisellei on Aquabid, and the guy wanted priority shipping that's fine. I sold for cheap too, $10 only and $20 shipping from Calif. to Miss. He's been calling me saying how he cannot wait for the fish and for me to send on Monday. I told him pending Paypal and I will want the money to clear into my Bank first so that may be a few days. Also told him if he won on Friday that he should pay then to ensure Monday shipment. He instead said he pay on Sunday night, and still insisted on Monday shipping.

So, he calls me tonight saying okay the money is in Paypal, so I checked and on $29 was paid. Total is $30 not $29. He said he paid it and Paypal took a dollar, BS, I know its not a typo neither cuz the 9 is not close to the 2,3, or 0 on the number pad. Also his Aquabid, Paypal, email all had different names.

I told him to pay the $1 or and I will ship Loisellei when the funds enter my bank. $1 is nothing to me but as a "good faith", like I told him, "You wouldn't like it if I sent you a fish with one fin".
 
I wouldn't trust this guy.
 
Well, Im waiting for the funds to go into my bank anyways, and that 'Good Faith' $1. I'll call Paypal tomorrow too to get info, insights Im sure they have more experience with these things
 
You really believe someone is going to waste time scamming you for a buck?
 
He uses three different names so I would be a little sketchy.

Does your username match your email? Most people don't use their email address as their user name.

Pay pal charges the person receiving the money 1.9 to 2.9% plus .30 cents for numerous different reasons.
 
He said he used three different names. Not user names. Duh.

Dude, of course I know Paypal charges and Paypal shows details clearly showing that. What he paid was $29 and so what I REALLY got was a little over $27.

Also I am not going by email names or user names, when you do the actually transactions it will reveal your true name (or whatever you put it as) so the Aquabid name is Stephon. I asked, "Who's Stephon, and he says no one named Stephon here." Then I said well, since Im the seller I can see your real account name which is Stephon. He then replies, "Oh yeah thats my dad".

SO here we go again, I am well off as money goes, I don't need $1 dollar, but it is the PRINCIPAL not the fact that he shorted me. GET IT? No probably not. Go back and read the first post again, over, and over again
 
10 bucks says you are going to get a private message from a mod.
