Merry X-mas to me. Buyer beware when purchasing a Fluvlal FX-5 on Ebay. I bought one from a guy with positive feedback on 12/11/2008. I never received it. Just went on ebay to email the guy again and guess what. He is flooded with negative feedback from tons of people who purchased aquarium related items from him and never recieved anything.
Everyone has filed a claim, including myself, with paypal.
It's guys like this that give people a bad name.
smrtbuys2u is the guys ebay name. 220327813779 is the auction number for ebay.
Beware all.
 
Seeing that the seller previously had consistent good feed back... then all of a sudden is flooded with bad... I hope he's alright and didn't have a heart attack or something which prevented him from fulfiling his responsibilities.

But whether that or he just decided to sacrifice his reputation for a quick buck, It still sucks you didn't get your filter. I hope things work out for you in the end.
 
This is only the second issue I've had with a bad seller in like 10 years on ebay. Most experiences are good. Just takes one to ruin it for everyone.
 
Chances are his account was probably phished and the scammer has been using his account to make money.

Sorry man.

Ebay has me worried lately. I have never been had but my Girlfriend has had her account hijacked twice in the last few months. Out of nowhere we get this thing saying how your account has changed and congrats your now selling internationally etc,,,, then her password will be changed to something she doesn't know.....
