I don’t know if im allowed to post about scammers that I encounter here. But delete if it’s not allowed.

So I DM’d J Jojo w about datnoids he was selling. Left him my number and I get a text. Long story short, I wanted all 3 dats that he had. he asked me to Zelle him $75 then he would meet me and I can pay him the rest in cash. I sent it like a dumbass. 2 hours go by and he texts me that he wants another $50 for gas. I refused to give him anymore money. Had a time set for 5:40 but now he’s telling me it’s gonna take another hour at 5:30 cause he’s asking friends for gas money. So I said forget it, just send me back the $75. Now he’s acting dumb and doesn’t reply to my texts when I’m asking for a refund. I know I was stupid for sending the money. But I’m just posting it so it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

That’s not jojo number, anyone can easily text u and pretend to be him. Looks like some Indian number. I bought rays from jojo before, I also have his real cell. Even his Zelle detail looks fake
 
The scammer texted u first, his first msg seems very sus.. I just went through ur historical posting and found ur number too. I can easily pretend im jojo as well. Be careful

So many scammers on all the forums. I’m an avid mountain biker and use Pinkbike for a lot of purchases and it’s rampant there. The only thing you can do is be cautious and use a service like Paypal(not friends and family) to allow the ability to get you money back. Don’t use Zelle or Cashapp that don’t allow you to file a refund claim. It happens to so many people so luckily for you it was only $75.

I watched a video yesterday where a scammer was running a con on an older man for $12k, he hired an innocent Uber driver to pick up the money and she was shot and killed by the old man who thought she was there to rob him. The 83 year old man is in prison with 15 years to life and the completely innocent 61 year old female Uber driver is dead but the worst part is the scammer was never caught, be vigilant.

Guys its kinda obvious to tell from scammed. The fact the guy said he's located in massachusetts is a red flag....and wtf the zelle name. For the future always ask for vids or dif pics than posted.. ull avoid all the scammers

Yea, I should’ve done more homework on my end. I took a risk on sending it. That’s on me. Sorry for the misunderstanding. J Jojo w . ****ing scammers.
